The GSD says the Government's failure to publish the mental health audit demonstrates it is ignoring the real need for mental health provision.
GSD Spokesperson for Health Eliott Phillips says it is unacceptable for the Government to shroud the results in secrecy, and that this only serves to create mistrust among mental health professionals and the community at large.
The GSD says it supports the Mental Welfare Society's call. And asks for the Government to openly disclose and recognise the failures in the system, and to explain the inexcusable delay in publishing results.
