The GSLP-Liberals have launched their election manifesto today, using various slogans, including “Green Gibraltar”. It contains ideas they hope will shape Gibraltar for the next four years and beyond.
The alliance leader Fabian Picardo described it as an ambitious but deliverable programme for government.
They say the 148 page document is a plan for economic prosperity, an environmental plan to improve quality of life & a political plan to deal with Brexit.
In a busy GSLP-Liberals' campaign office, Fabian Picardo said his party’s commitment to the environment is to do things differently, not to do nothing.
Having led Gibraltar’s government since 2011, Mr Picardo emphasized he and Joseph Garcia know all the relevant political characters, officials and official documents: something he says is key, in light of Brexit.
The next government will need to pay for new projects & keep everything else ticking. Sir Joe Bossano is predicting 2.5% growth for the next two years and 5% growth for the third and fourth years.
If you'd like to find out more about the ideas put forward by the GSLP-Liberals at this election, you can go to www.generations.gi. They say they'll be distributing hard copies in the coming days, but - for environmental reasons - not as many as they've done in the past.
