A GSLP student platform intending to empower young people and offer a voice for those studying abroad, has been launched. ‘GSLP Students’, aims to be an inclusive youth movement aimed at 16 - 25 year olds, especially those in tertiary education. The group also hopes to organise small-scale events for networking purposes, debates, and generate content on pressing issues.
GSLP Students will be run by a core committee of around six individuals, who will ensure the group is accessible and proactive, taking on board suggestions raised by students. Chairman, Samuel Marrache, says they hope to represent their own demographic so that the future of Gibraltar is shaped by the ideas of today. They are asking students to get in touch on their Facebook and Instagram pages or on email GSLPStudents@gmail.com
