HMS Dragon will be open to the general public in the Naval Base next Friday

As part of Gibraltar Maritime Week, the Royal Navy's Type 45 Destroyer, HMS Dragon, will be open to the general public in the Naval Base on Friday the 12th.

The ship was a recent protagonist on the big screen in the latest Bond movie. The MoD says this is a fantastic opportunity for people to see one of the Royal Navy’s most advanced warships up close and meet the sailors who operate her.

Visitors are asked to wear sensible footwear. Face masks and proof of vaccine are needed and the public is advised that bags will be subject to searching.
