Independent Candidate Robert Vasquez says he has made his political ideas public for decades, and claims ideas he has written about first have then been adopted by both political parties in Gibraltar.

He remains confident ahead of the election, but says this may be the last time he stands as a candidate, if not voted in.

Mr Vasquez also hit back against what he calls hollow criticism of his accent, which he picked up in boarding school, saying he is as Gibraltarian as the rest of the community.
