Today is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
To mark the occasion members of the Ministry of Equality will be handing out information in Casemates about a number of initiatives designed to improve accessibility for the disabled.
This includes information on the recently launched Disability Information Cards, as well as the RADAR Key Pilot Scheme which will enable those with disabilities to access public toilets after they’ve closed.
More information on local disabled toilets, as well as leaflets and booklets relating to disabilities can be found on the Ministry of Equality website.
