Labour fails to rule out second EU referendum

Jeremy Corbyn has failed to rule out a second EU referendum if he becomes Prime Minister, although he said his party was not “advocating” one.

The Labour leader’s comments came during an interview with the I newspaper, as he acknowledged his deputy’s recent statement that the Party was not ruling out another vote.

Meanwhile Conservative Peer Michael Heseltine has suggested a Labour government led by Corbyn would cause less damage to the UK than Brexit.
