Lesbian couple 'absolutely thrilled' as Surrogacy Bill passes, describing it as 'huge moment for Gibraltar'

A local campaigner for the Surrogacy Bill believes the Act will now help many families.

It means that gay couple Katie Perez-Muldoon and her partner Natalie will now both be able to legally register as parents of their own child, a baby boy - due to be born next week.

The law was changed in the UK over ten years ago; however, the amendment to the law was never made here - until now.
