​LNG terminal operator Gasnor says it's working to prevent any further power outages

The operator of the LNG terminal has apologised for the inconvenience caused by recent power outages.

Gasnor says these were the result of a faulty sensor in the LNG terminal, that triggered a shutdown.

It says it's working closely with partners, including Shell, to establish the cause of the fault - and is cooperating with the Electricity Authority, to prevent this from happening again.
