Local company Peninsula signs sustainability partner sponsorship agreement with Solheim Cup

Local company Peninsula has signed a sustainability partner sponsorship agreement with the most prestigious event in women's golf, the Solheim Cup.

Founder and CEO of Peninsula, John Bassadone said he's thrilled with the partnership, adding that they are firmly committed to the decarbonisation and sustainability of the marine energy industry and are always looking for opportunities to go beyond.

Mr Bassadone believes the Soheim Cup's sustainability agenda matches the company's aspirations, and like the SoheimCup are strongly committed to advancing the presence of women in maritime.

The transatlantic team match-play competition features the 12 best golfers from both the Ladies European Tour and the U.S Ladies Professional Golf Association Tour. It travels to Spain for the first time and will be hosted at Finca Cortesin in Andalucia.
