Local footballer Tiffany Viagas says the Lionesses' Euro 2022 win will help boost women's football

The Lionesses' Euro 22 win at the weekend was watched by a record 87,000 people at Wembley, and it's hoped it will give women's football a much needed boost.

Speaking to GBC, Tiffany Viagas, who's been playing football on the Rock since she was 7 years old, says there is definitely more interest these days, but stressed there needs to be more opportunities at grass roots level.

She's currently studying at University in the UK and plays for the third division side the Liverpool Feds Women's Football Club.

Ros Astengo spoke to Tiffany, and first asked her about the impact of the Euro win.
