Longer-than-usual pedestrian queues at the frontier on Wednesday afternoon were caused when several coaches offloaded passengers at around the same time on the Gibraltar side of the border.
A spokesperson for the Borders and Coastguard Agency said this happened at around 4.15pm, with the queues over by around twenty minutes later.
For their part, the Royal Gibraltar Police told GBC two additional officers were deployed to help with the pedestrian queues.
A spokesperson said this was in order to keep people safe from the nearby traffic.
