Man standing trial for sexual assault found not guilty of all charges

A man standing trial for sexual assault has been found not guilty of all charges. Brian Waldron faced two charges including trespassing with intent to commit sexual offence.

Just after midday, the jury of 9 retired to consider the verdict. It took them less than an hour to return a unanimous decision on both counts.

The 53 year old was represented by Kevin Colombo, together with Suresh Mahtani. The Prosecution was headed by Johann Fernandez and the trial was presided over by Chief Justice, Anthony Dudley.
