Mandatory Covid isolation removal a welcome step, says new GFSB Chair, Owen Smith

The Federation of Small Businesses has described the decision by Public Health to end mandatory Covid 19 Isolation as a 'welcome step'.

Owen Smith, who was elected the Federation's new Chairman this week, says the new rules recognise Covid as a day to day illness, and that businesses have greater autonomy over how they deal with it.

Jonathan Sacramento asked him about the challenges facing small businesses as he takes over as Chair, namely the impact of post-covid financial instability, the costs of living, and Brexit.
