Medicine importation issues now resolved, says Health Minister

Health Minister Gemma Arias Vasquez says the issues affecting medicines crossing the border have now been resolved.

She has told GBC a new customs code has been generated for medicines coming into Gibraltar which will prevent this happening again.

She also confirmed that the consignment of chemotherapy medication for the GHA was cleared and arrived yesterday afternoon.

The Minister has reiterated that there are no concerns over current stock levels of medicine.

She spoke to Jonathan Sacramento who asked her what exactly the problem had been.
