Government looking at alternative ways of dealing with Gibraltar's sewage, plans to build a treatment plant a 'nightmare', Environment Minister tells Lunchtime Live

The Government is looking at three alternative ways of dealing with Gibraltar's sewage. The Environment Minister said plans to build a treatment plant have been a 'nightmare', after one of the partners who won the tender for the project filed for administration.

Speaking on Radio Gibraltar's Lunchtime Live, John Cortes also revealed that MidTown Park will end up being £1.3 million pounds over budget. With the total now estimated to be £3.7 million pounds.

And, Dr Cortes told GBC's Ros Astengo air quality has been improving, with new figures to be published soon... together with a special study looking at paint particles in the air around the ship repair yard, Gibdock.
