Miss Gibraltar 2026 Julia Horne has made it into the finals of the head-to-head challenge at this year's Miss World being held in Vietnam.

The challenge, a major fast track competition, asks contestants to take to the Miss World stage and speak of their personal values, life experiences, or social initiatives as they present their Beauty with a Purpose projects.

The panel of judges includes chairwoman and CEO of the Miss World Organization Julia Morley CBE.

The Pageant described her speech as "exceptionally powerful", saying Julia spoke with "remarkable composure about grief, about the stages through which it moves and about learning that surviving pain is not the same as allowing pain to define the rest of your life."

Julia's Beauty with a Purpose project titled "Pain to Purpose", focused on the loss of her grandmother and her younger sister Jessie, both of whom battled cancer.

She went on to describe the loss of her sister as extremely difficult but as one that empowered her to continue to celebrate Jessie's life.

Her continued work with Cancer Relief Gibraltar lead her to help those beyond the rock too, travelling to Ghana where she worked closely with individuals and families also affected by cancer and other illnesses.

This is Gibraltar's 1st time making it to the final of the challenge with Julia's Miss World journey proving to be a successful one.

She was also crowned  winner of yet another fast track challenge - Miss World Chef Beauty where contestants trade their heels for chef hats to test their culinary creativity, cultural expression through food, and collaboration under pressure.

She has also made the final of the talent portion of the pageant as well as the 'Top Model' challenge with the challenge final taking place on the 28th August.

Julia will take the stage at the Miss World Grand Final on the 5th September - you'll be able to watch it live on GBC television.
