Three of Gibraltar’s largest retailers have joined forces with NGOs and the Government’s environment department to work towards a plastic bag free Gibraltar.
Morrisons, Eroski and Marks and Spencer yesterday all declared their commitment to eradicate single use plastic bags from their stores.
At a press conference at the University of Gibraltar, Environment Minister John Cortes also revealed legislation to ban products containing micro beads was already in the works.
