Neanderthal footprints discovered in the dunes above Catalan Bay

The footprint of a young human possibly dating back over 29,000 years has been revealed by the natural collapse of sand in the dunes above Catalan Bay.

The Quaternary Science Reviews Journal has published a paper on the finding produced by the Gibraltar Museum, alongside scientists from Spain, Portugal and Japan.

The National Museum's Director Clive Finlayson spoke to Kevin Ruiz.
