New British Forces Gibraltar Post Office facility opened

British Forces Gibraltar has a new, state-of-the art post office.

It represents an investment of over £1m in UK taxpayers' money.

The creation of the new BFPO Gibraltar facility aims to future-proof the mail system that serves military personnel on the Rock.

The post office at Devil's Tower Camp was officially opened by the Chief Minister.

The creation has seen 15 tonnes of rubble removed, 25 miles of cable laid, and three IT platforms set up.

The old post office building is set to be demolished, and turned into a larger outside area for the GDP dogs.
