A recent fundraiser at Ocean Village has raised over £1400 for Research into Childhood Cancer. The Christmas event saw a Santa’s Grotto, and popular cartoon characters, with carol singing part of the entertainment. And, although the opening night, saw some unwelcome rain, with the event moved indoors, it obviously did not have an impact on the community’s charitable nature and support.
RICC’s Chairman, Craig Sacarello, has thanked everyone who made the Grotto such a memorable place. With Emilia Hazell-Smith of Ocean Village adding, the amount raised this year of £1476 has surpassed last year’s record.
