A senior representative from the Order of St. John has apologised to victims of paedophile Graham Southwell.

Southwell was a St. John Ambulance volunteer at the time of his offences. He was sentenced to 39 years in prison earlier this year.

The Lord Prior of the Order of St. John, Mark Compton has described Southwell's actions as a breach of trust and a breach of what St. John stands for as an organisation.

Shelina Assomull spoke to Lord Prior Mark Compton, during his visit to Mayor's parlour, and asked him how the organisation approaches safeguarding.
