The Police Economic Crime Unit have new offices at Natwest House.
The office will be staffed mostly by police officers but also civil servants, an accountant and an in-house legal counsel.
Commissioner Owain Richards said the team was a rich mix of professional backgrounds to deliver the best results for the RGP as Gibraltar works towards its next Moneyval assessment.
