PP's demands for answers on Gonzalez Laya/Picardo meeting rejected in Spanish Parliament

The Spanish Parliament has rejected a petition tabled by the Partido Popular calling for Spain's Minister for Foreign Affairs to answer questions on her meeting last week with the Chief Minister.

The PP had described the meeting between Arancha Gonzalez Laya and Fabian Picardo as a "historic error".

The Permanent commission in the Congress in Madrid voted by 35 votes to 30 to reject the PP move demanding the minister answers questions on this issue.
