Preparations underway for Gibraltar Fair which opens next Saturday

Preparations are underway for the Gibraltar Fair, which will open next Saturday.

The fair will this year be held at the Victoria Stadium, just for this one time.

Organisers promise the same fun attractions and a full programme of events at the Family pavilion.

The Victoria Stadium pitch has seen many an historic moment but this will be the first and only time it will host the fair.

A stones throw from the centre of town, for one week, it will become a hive of activity.

Giovi Vinales from Gibraltar Cultural Services gave us a tour of the area and where all of the attractions and the family pavilion will be located.

On the logistics of the site, Giovi told us the entrance to the fair will be via the two gates at Bayside road.

She said the community can expect the same fun attractions and full programme at the Family pavilion.

Minister for Culture, Christian Santos will officially inaugurate the Gibraltar Fair on Saturday 23rd August at 7pm.

He will be accompanied by the newly crowned Miss Gibraltar 2025 and organising teams.
