Pro-Life Movement raises £38,000 for 'Pledge For Life' campaign

The Pro-Life Movement has raised £38,000 for its campaign ahead of the upcoming referendum on Gibraltar's abortion laws.

In a statement, the movement said the aim of its "Pledge for Life" campaign was to share the pro-life message and educate people about the reality of abortion. It added part of the funds raised will go towards CareLink, its programme to provide material support to pregnant women and families in need.

The Pro-Life Movement said the money raised far surpassed its original target and expectations, thanking the community. It added while it will be intensifying its efforts ahead of the referendum, it's considered the long-term view very clear and important from the start.
