Queensway Quay Marina to launch legal challenge over approved Cormorant Camber expansion

Queensway Quay Marina is preparing a legal challenge after the Development and Planning Commission approved plans to expand the Cormorant Camber Boat Owners’ Club.

The Commission gave the go-ahead for 19 additional berths at last week’s meeting, following a long-running dispute.

Queensway Marina says the extension would encroach on its waters and raise safety concerns in the narrow channel between the two sites.

Speaking to our reporter Kevin Ruiz, lawyer Ian Farrell, representing Queensway Quay Marina, says efforts to reach a compromise with the Club were unsuccessful.
