A campaign to raise awareness of 'sexting' is being run by the Royal Gibraltar Police together with the Department of Education and the Care Agency, targeting schools and parents. The Police says it is responding to concerns raised, with Bayside School reporting 1 to 2 cases a week. The presentation, which was delivered at the Boy's Comprehensive this week, hopes to engage young people to think about the risks and staying safe online, whilst educating parents.
The RGP says an excellent resource for internet safety information is the website ThinkuKnow website.
