The Representation in Westminster Movement has given the Chief Minister a petition with 13,000 signatures, supporting their campaign for Gibraltar to have its own MP in the UK Parliament.
The group believes this would strengthen the Rock's links with the UK, while at the same time allowing Gibraltar to maintain its autonomy.
The petition, which was launched nearly two years ago, will be presented to the UK Prime Minister. They are planning for this to coincide with Conservative MP Craig MacKinlay's second reading of his Private Members Bill on the Representation of the People of Gibraltar.
