The RGP's Assistant Commissioner says it's been a very difficult week for officers, with resources stretched as they carry out their duties together with both the Island Games and two high profile football matches.
Richard Ullger said the crowd behaved well at Tuesday's Europa League match and there were no arrests. As a precaution, police asked the nearby CEPSA petrol station not to sell alcohol around match time and CEPSA told GBC they will not be selling alcohol around Thursday's UEFA match either.
Michael Beltran spoke to Mr Ullger and first asked him about the force's preparations of the Island Games.
