The Royal Gibraltar Police says it may need to ramp up enforcement because people keep breaching Covid-19 measures.
Speaking on Radio Gibraltar's Lunchtime Live programme, the Police Commissioner said policing Covid regulations has become challenging because people have become very lax. Richard Ullger said the RGP may need to act to help prevent further spread of the virus.
The Commissioner took questions from presenter Ros Astengo on a range on topics including the HMIC report, post-Brexit policing and tackling domestic crime. He said the RGP will be looking to remodel itself after a Strategic Demand Assessment is completed, with certain police roles becoming 'civilianised' .
