The Royal Gibraltar Police have confirmed the arrest of two more senior crew members from the Grace 1 supertanker.
The ship was detained in Gibraltar last week, in relation to alleged breaches of EU sanctions against Syria.
The two second mates have now been arrested, following the arrest of the captain and chief officer yesterday.
In a statement, the RGPsaid all four men are Indian nationals, and are assisting police with inquiries at New Mole House police station.
They add they've been granted full legal assistance, telephone contact with their families, and access to their consular authorities.
The investigation continues, and the Grace 1 remains detained.
Meanwhile, the UK is to increase its military presence in the Gulf by sending a second warship to the region.
Type 45 Destroyer HMS Duncan will sail to the Gulf in the coming days, to operate alongside the Royal Navy frigate HMS Montrose.
It comes after a senior Iranian cleric warned Britain will soon be "slapped in the face" for "daring" to capture an oil tanker off the coast of Gibraltar.
