Rumble on the Rock sees Whyte beat Povetkin at a sold-out Europa Sports Complex

Saturday's Rumble on the Rock saw boxing fans treated to seven fights at a sold-out Europa Sports Complex, with the evening culminating in a showdown between Britain's Dillian Whyte and Russia's Alexander Povetkin.

The one-sided affair saw a spirited Whyte make amends for his surprise loss to Povetkin last August, and he eventually put the fight to bed in the fourth, picking up the WBC interim heavyweight title as he did.

It was possibly a world-first, as Gibraltar hosted an event with a largely vaccinated crowd of hundreds: more coming up on what this means from a public health perspective, but first, our sports reporter Jose Marie Ruiz was at the fight.
