'Save Babies Vote No' campaign disappointed Chief Minister has not retracted referendum statement

The Save Babies Vote No campaign has said it is disappointed that the Chief Minister has not seen fit to retract his statement at the weekend on the upcoming referendum, and confirm what they say is "the true legal position".

The pro-life campaign claims the proposed law introduces abortion in "wide circumstances" up to 12 weeks and throughout the nine months of pregnancy.

It encourages voters to read the neutral information document, and to consult the information provided by Gibraltar Lawyers for No, which they highlight include five QCs, a former Chief Minister, a former Ombudsman and a former Chairwoman of the Gibraltar Women's Association.
