Sir David Steel appointed Chair of CWEIC Gibraltar Hub

Former Governor Sir David Steel has been appointed Chair of the Gibraltar Hub of the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC).

Sir David takes up the role following the resignation of Lieutenant General Ed Davis who stepped down after being appointed as the next Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod in the UK Parliament. 

The Council says it looks forward to working with Sir David to strengthen Gibraltar’s links with Commonwealth markets, and supporting the development of new trade and investment opportunities.
