Sir Joe Bossano has delivered an address on Gibraltar's right to self-determination to the United Nations Pacific Seminar in Bali.

The address comes ahead of the meeting of the Committee of 24 or Decolonisation Committee in New York next month.

Sir Joe argues decolonisation would not impact Spain's territorial integrity and that the Treaty of Utrect reflects the values of 1713 but is contrary to everything the UN stands for now.

He tells the seminar the EU treaty, and the shared prosperity it hopes to bring with it, will not happen if it includes provisions for a Spanish presence on the Rock.

The whole of Gibraltar, he adds, belongs to its people and that if that means we'll never be delisted- so be it. Self-government advances, he says, will continue by negotiation with the UK.
