Spanish Foreign Minister says Spain's sovereignty claim unaffected
In a statement on social media, the Spanish Foreign Minister said the treaty brings down the last barrier in continental Europe.
José Manuel Albares highlighted that the treaty guarantees the free movement of people and goods, which he says specifically benefits the 15,000 cross-frontier workers.
Mr Albares also said Spain maintains and protects its sovereignty claim.
