Former Deputy Governor, Nick Pyle has been engaged by the Chief Secretary to deliver civil service training and reform.
This was confirmed in Parliament by the Chief Minister, in response to the Leader of the Opposition.
Keith Azopardi questioned whether it was appropriate for the Government to offer Mr Pyle a job, given that he is a core participant in the inquiry into the early retirement of former Police Commissioner, Ian McGrail.
Fabian Picardo said the question impugned the integrity of Mr Pyle, the Chief Secretary, and everyone else involved, describing it as "disgraceful".
