The Royal Navy will be carrying out a surface exercise in British Gibraltar Territorial Waters on Monday morning.
The Gibraltar Squadron’s HMS Cutlass and a Royal Navy RHIB will take part in the SURFEX, which will include high-speed manoeuvring, blank firings, and flares.
The exercise will run from 8am till noon.
The Port says the Navy will maintain a safe distance from all other mariners.
It also advises people that small surface detonations will take place at the South Mole between 10am and 5pm.
The Port says all detonations will take place within an 100m safety radius, and that a Royal Navy safety boat will be there and in direct communication on VHF.
