GNDO national team brings home 10 medals from Dance World Cup

The Gibraltar National Dance Organisation's national team has returned home from the Dance World Cup in Portugal, with six silver and four bronze medals. The group of 54 dancers competed against 6,000 dancers from 53 countries.

Taking home silver were Faye Gomez in the Children Solo Jazz B, Lucia Guillem Hernandez in the Children Solo Acro B, Ella Hurtado and Heaven Bocarisa in the Mini Jazz and Showdance Duet Trio, Amy Wink in the Junior Solo Modern and Contemporary category, Isabella Wink in the Junior Acro Solo, and Eva Collinson in the Senior Solo Contemporary Category.

Returning with bronze was a group of seven dancers in the Children small group modern section, Nathan Villalba in the Children Modern and Contemporary Solo Boys, Janis Jackson in the Senior Solo Jazz section and Sarah Wood, Ayla Santos Pizarro and Isabella Wink in the Junior Modern and Contemporary Duet and Trio.

Scoring ten medals between them, President of the Gibraltar National Dance Organisation Wendy Garro says the team had great performances, full of passion and precision.
