Two men plead not guilty to all charges following Monday's jet-ski chase - third man still at large

Two Spanish nationals have appeared at the Magistrates' Court in relation to a high-speed jet-ski chase in British Gibraltar Territorial Waters earlier this week.

40 year old Karin Sidek Mohamed and 25 year old Reduan Mohamed Ahmed were charged with entering Gibraltar illegally, dangerous navigation, resisting or obstructing police, and handling stolen goods - this last charge in relation to the jet ski, which the Royal Gibraltar Police say does not belong to them.

Their lawyer told the court no injuries or damage were sustained during Monday's incident.

The men have pleaded not guilty to all charges, and have been granted bail, with a £5000 cash deposit each. They are also each liable for £5000pounds on their own recognisance, which they would have to pay if they fail to show up for any scheduled court appearances.

Their case has been adjourned until the end of September.

The search continues for a third man who was reportedly also involved in the chase.
