The Spanish and UK Foreign Ministers are set to begin the process of restarting negotiations on a future EU relationship treaty for Gibraltar.
David Cameron has contacted the Spanish Government to ask for a conversation with the newly-reappointed Jose Manuel Albares.
Mr Albares says their teams are looking to set up a time.
He highlighted that he's due to see Lord Cameron at a NATO summit.
Mr Albares says he hopes for a Gibraltar agreement "as soon as possible", although no timeframe has been set.
He says if it was down to Spain, the agreement would already have been signed - adding he assumes Britain is looking to resolve the outstanding issues "very quickly" as well.
