The number of people who are unemployed in the Campo de Gibraltar has dropped during the month of December in almost all towns, including Algeciras and La Linea. This according to Spanish Press reports.
The Campo de Gibraltar reports a total of 32,091 registered as unemployed. That’s 703 fewer than the previous month. It’s also just over two thousand fewer than December 2016.
All towns in the region are reporting drops in unemployment, except Jimena and Castellar de la Frontera, which experienced very slight increases. At year’s end, there were over fourteen thousand unemployed in Algeciras, with La Linea reporting almost eight and a half thousand.
