Unite has been encouraging residents of Gibraltar's housing estates to join its demonstration on the 16th of January.
The union has printed over 6,000 leaflets, which it's been handing out. The leaflet says Unite is taking a stand against the "exploitation of agency workers" and "lack of proper apprenticeships".
It says it cannot allow the hard-won achievements of the local trade union movement to be undermined in such a way.
Unite calls for an end to "austerity disguised as efficiency" measures... and "creeping privatisation". The union asks people to stand shoulder to shoulder with its members, and other workers, at the protest on the 16th of January.
