US Congressmen on the Rock for fact-finding visit

A delegation of US Congressmen is on the Rock on a fact-finding visit. The three representatives all serve on the Appropriations Committee and include its Chair Rodney Freling-Huysen as well as Ken Calvert and Peter Visclosky.

The Congressmen met the Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister. They thanked the people of Gibraltar for hosting the American armed forces throughout history, including during the Second World War.

The Chief Minister reiterated the Government’s position that the US Armed Forces are very welcome on the Rock.
