A vaccinated resident in their late 70s has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. This, as well as a vaccinated visitor in their early 60s.

A resident case has also been confirmed as the Delta variant strain of the virus:

however, this is not one of the most recent positives, as it takes 48 hours to confirm the strain of the virus.

This brings Gibraltar's active caseload to 12.

The new resident case was not a close contact of an existing active case.

The number of people isolating, however, has almost halved in the last 24 hours, with 33 people now in self-isolation.
