Weekend weather warning for heavy rain

A yellow weather warning for heavy rain has been issued for Gibraltar this weekend.

The warning will be in place from 10pm on Saturday until 10pm on Sunday.

Heavy showers and possible thunderstorms could bring between 20 and 30 millimetres of rain in just six hours, with a risk of localised flooding.

The public is being advised to take extra care on the roads and allow more time for journeys.
