Emma and Julian are the most popular names among boys and girls aged 12, according to a survey carried out by Panorama.
The newspaper has analysed a list of names from both comprehensive schools in 2016. In the Girl’s school, there were 27 ‘Emmas’, 22 ‘Amys’ and 17 ‘Ariannes’.
In the boy’s school, there were 25 ‘Julians’, 19 ‘Liams’ and 19 ‘Ryans’.
