Woman in her 60s taken to hospital with head & chest injuries after being hit by bus on Devil's Tower Road

A woman in her 60s has been taken to hospital with head and chest injuries after being hit by a bus on Devil's Tower Road.

A forklift was used to lift the bus and free the woman from underneath it.

The Fire and Rescue Service and Ambulance Service attended the scene, with first aid delivered by a paramedic and an ambulance care assistant.

RGP Crime Scene investigators were at the scene collecting evidence. Road diversions were put in place, with one lane remaining closed for a few hours Friday afternoon.
