Young people encouraged to submit essays towards taking part in Commonwealth Youth Parliament

Young people who'd like to take part in the Commonwealth Youth Parliament later this year are being encouraged to put themselves forward for nomination.

The Youth Parliament will take place in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago from the 20th to the 24th November.

Gibraltar first participated in 2018, and again in 2019 - and has taken part in virtual meetings held since. This will be the first physical event since the 2019 Commonwealth Youth Parliament.

Young people aged from 18 to 29 who're interested in participating are invited to submit a 500 word essay on the Commonwealth to Gibraltar by email to parliament@parliament.gi, by no later than noon on the 3rd September.
